Optifast Starts Tomorrow

After you're all done with Opti and if you have any leftovers, could I buy a packet of each from you to try to see which I like better? Maybe at a Mississauga meetup after you're healed a bit? Good luck in two weeks! Hopefully it's damping sailing for you. Have you found out if you're going sleeve or RNY yet?

I'm having RNY. We talked about the sleeve but Dr. Hong felt that RNY was the route I should go and I agreed. I have had several abdominal surgeries so we are hoping that scar tissue is not going to be an issue. If it is, then it will be a sleeve.

I won't know until I come out of surgery what I got but the plan is for a RNY.

Oh that's interesting. I'm just assuming RNY for me because of my GERD but I didn't realize that abdominal surgeries would affect that decision. I've had my gallbladder out and a C-section so hopefully it doesn't interfere. Thanks so much for the future Opti!
