3 month surgiversary today

Well, today is my three month surgiversary, and I am in awe of this journey. Every day is better than the last, and brings with it new victories.

I got on the scale this morning to do my official 3 month weigh in, and was tickled pink that I achieved 60 lb weight loss. Wow!

I saw my sister today, and she told me I really look different now. It can be hard for me to see, but sometimes I notice... and I'm sure happy with the way clothes are fitting.

I live on the second floor of a condo, and it's stair access only, and very rarely am I winded anymore going up the stairs (only if I am carrying a lot).

I can wear some heels again! Clothes in general fit me better. I go to sleep earlier, fall asleep quickly, and am usually up at 7 am without an alarm clock (it used to be a struggle for me to wake up by 9 or later!!).

My days are much more productive. I have a lot more energy to get things done around my place. And I'm excited to host a couple of holiday gatherings this season... something I haven't had the energy to do in a few years!!

I took a selfie today, to mark my 3 months. I found a pic that was taken on the night I told my first friend about my journey... I hadn't told anyone yet. That was in May of this year; really, not very long ago!! Wow, how quickly things change. How much I've changes in such a short time.

Thanks to all for being part of my journey. I can't even imagine what the next 3, 6 and 9 months are going to be like!!!
