3 Months Post Op

Yesterday marked 3 months since surgery. What a ride it has been so far!

The first 2 months were pretty rough with complications but now I am feeling great. My energy is back, I can tolerate more food and I feel light on my feet. Though the scale has not dropped as much as I would like I have dropped from wearing size 24/26 to size 18. I am down 57 lbs, 15 of which were from Opti.

I am looking forward to beginning a weight training routine to develop some muscle to show off once the fat disappears. I am heading back to my Masters Synchronized Swimming team after Christmas. I have missed it, it is such a great sport.

I am so grateful to my tool and for all of you at OH.

Way to go. Although I am walking and am much more active, I need to incorporate mindful daily exercise as I do my mindful eating. Not all the fat will go, but I can get back some of the muscle mass I lost during inactivity.

Congratulations and wishes for continued success. Post daily - it helps keep me encouraged and accountable.
