Smoka that's great. Did you run when you were younger? I hope when I am lighter to join the running groups in Paris and learn to run. My sister did this a couple years ago and now she runs marathons. She keeps telling me I will be running with her soon. That must feel amazing. Congrats

Hi Murt,

I was never a runner. I was a dancer all my young life so I was physically active daily. Later on I taught aerobics. I have been running on and off for about the past 10 years. On, when I had lost enough weight that my knees and body could handle it, and off when I was too heavy to run. I have never run more than 5 k's and I don't know if I will aspire to do races again. It just feels good to have the blood running through my body again. I use to tell my students that our bodies love it when we take care of them and that we were meant for physical activity. I need to listen to myself now! It feels amazing to move again and I am finally at the lowest weight I have been in some time. I also think that our bodies must remember what it feels like to be fit. Anyway, this is all psychological and physiological stuff that I have no backing to prove at the moment. It's just my story and I'm sticking with it!
