What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)

Good morning everyone. So cold out there this morning that I think it's time to break out the fleece-lined leggings under my workout pants. What's everyone's favourite warm-up drink?

This weekend was not good. My father is misbehaving and I really don't want to fly back and take care of this. Any advice?

This morning I'm going swimming, then meeting a friend for coffee, then meetings and phone calls for the rest of the afternoon.

My menu is going to be pretty much the same for a few days. My FIL gave us a lot of trout that is already cooked.

L. Shrimp salad in half of an avocado

D. Trout with Cajun spice, sauteed peppers and onions, asparagus

Good morning :)

I'm running late this morning because I left my house without taking my meds so I had to turn around and go back. I'm almost to my office -- I'm typing and walking. I was not ready to come back to work this morning. My three day weekend was lovely and productive. I got our backyard raked yesterday before the snow fell and it means I can put the bags at the curb for pickup before that ends. Edit -- I was just thinking I can't believe I raked the whole backyard by myself in one go. I was sweaty but it didn't kill me.

Post-op two years, eight months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - egg, bacon jerky

Lunch - beef stroganoff

Snack - turkey pepperettes

Dinner - tbd

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

Meg, I raked the front yard last week and I was sore, but I did it. That never would have happened pre-WLS.

Don't you love feeling stronger?

Yes, it's these little things I need to reflect on and remember to keep me motivated. It's easy to get lost in the day to day food choices and struggles. I'm so happy I did this, but still so scared that it won't last.

Most of the time I have to wait for my evening class. I finish emails, do banking, and write lists of things I need to get done while I'm waiting. All of this is done in the car while drinking a massive decaf coffee, lol. I am so jealous of your boot camp tonight. My knee is giving me issues, so no bootcamp for this girl for a while.

Good morning menu peeps,

i haven't been on basically since surgery I had complications and have been very slowly moving through the food stages I have named my pouch Moaning Myrtle (any Harry Potter fans) as she is very temperamental. She still prefers soft food.

my hot drink of choice is coffee. I have just ordered the Ninja Coffee Station from Costco. My reward for losing my first 50lbs.

Moaning Myrtle is a good name for your pouch, lol. When I was newly post-op I found it easier to digest meats that were cooked for a long time in the slow cooker.

Let me know how you like the Ninja Coffee Station when you get it. It's something I have been looking at.
