Ohh, this thread is making me hungry! The ground turkey sounds like a nice one!

last year my family tried to cauliflower stuffing. It was pretty yummy! Here is the Pinterest link:

There is a guy who makes desserts out of cocoa, pumpkin purees, monk fruit syrup ( no carbs) and nut butters.... I have compiled a booklet and will try them all in a couple of weeks... there are high protein ones too ..again low carb and natural ingredients...

I'll be making a purée out of ground turkey, with gravy and peas and a bit of potato. My sister will be having the original as it's just the two of us...it's kind of a twist on a kind of easy stew our grandma used to make with leftovers.

I was on full liquids at thanksgiving last year. I took some potatoes, carrots, turkey, bouillon, and a smidge of gravy and pureed it into a soup. was amazing!

and I plan to make a pumpkin chia pudding. hopefully this will keep me away from the gingerbread crust pumpkin pie I'm making this year.

So will likely just use my base chia pudding recipe:

Makes 2:

  • 1 vanilla premier premade shake
  • 3tbs chia seeds
  • 2 tbs vanilla protein powder
  • I will add a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
  • a shot of maple or caramel flavouring
  • 4 tbs of pumpkin puree (will need to experiment with the quantity)

haven't tried making them yet, but this was where i was going to start and then adjust from there.

might be interesting to let it set up, add an egg and bake to see if you get a custard like texture...but don't think I'll go to that extent.

Newly post op I'd divide into 4 portions (or if using as a dessert)

Pretty simple. I drank 100oz of water a day. No processed foods. No simple carbs...followed balanced macros...40%protein, 35%carb, 25% fat.

Calories 950-1250 during losing phase.

Walked 10,000 steps a day
