Hi Friends,

I am 2 days late for my 5wk post op update!

Feeling much better!!!! Getting 2L of fluid a day, not hitting my 60g of protein but im around 40g and that good for me consodering ALL the shakes make me wanna vomit!

NSVs: NO blood pressure meds! I was on two.

NO more insulin I was on 38 units pre op!

My size 16 jeans are back in the drawer, snug but I figure comfy in another week!

As for the scale -47lbs!!! ( including pre op)

I am well on my way now!

I hope everyone is well and sipping away, surgeon, dietician and endocrinology next week! Hope to gette green light to head back to work after long wknd!

Wow! That's so awesome. Glad you are feeling better now - hopefully those bumps in the road will stay in your rear-view mirror. 47lbs is amazing - so happy for you. Can't wait to be at that point myself. :)

Congratulations Bo! You have really come a long way. Your scale and non-scale victories are all things to be proud of. Mostly, the improvements to your health already, and getting the green light to go off so many medications is incredible.

Continue in your journey to health and healing and improving day by day. You've got this!

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.
