Just for anyone who was wondering I'm out and resting fairly comfortably. Surgeon said it went very well.

I am actually doing really well. Everyone seems impressed with my progress. Walked a few times, drinking the 3 waters an hour. I know it won't last forever but I'm glad things are working out well for me today, lol.

SO happy to hear you are out and resting. Ask for ice chips if you can. It will help with your fluids and your throat if it is sore. They will have you up an walking soon. Do what you can. Don't be a hero take you pain meds if needed - best of luck to you. Please keep us posted.
