Well it's been a rough couple of days for me. The pain hasn't been bad but the nausea has been terrible. I've been taking gravol to manage it and it's slowly improving but man did it kick me in the butt. Thankfully I have my husband and parents taking care of the kids and house so I've been able to focus on getting in liquids and resting. I've been drinking jus****er and broth so far. jello, which I usually love makes me want to vomit. Tomorrow I get to start non-clear liquids but because of the nausea I'm nervous about how my tummy will react.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I'll post another update tomorrow.

Hopefully moving to full fluids will help with the nausea. It definitely sounds like a rough start but at least it is improving slowly but surely. In no time it will just be a blip in your journey!

Awwww, sorry to hear. Nausea is the worst. I hope you feel better quickly and your transition to full fluids goes smoothly.

Hey there, glad your pushing through, and looking for the silver lining. I am day 5 post-op and finally starting to feel like myself. I was so nauseous after surgery too, and the thought of jello turns my stomach even today. Probably because I had it for breakfast , lunch , and dinner pre surgery for days.

I just wanted to say hang in there, it does get better everyday..

I am very sorry to hear your feeling like crap! I too felt terrible, I got behind in my liquids and landed in hospital for a week! That was 3wks post op, so please take it easy and set your alarm for fluids.

Some people take longer to recover and feel better! Wish you all the best!
