Crap lol I meant to edit my message and instead I deleted it.

Thanks for saying that. After I wrote it I was like this is a novel, should I shorten it? lol However, this is my experience, and I'm trying to be as honest as I can be.

You are so right our journeys are so intertwined, but so individual too. That was my point I was trying to make also.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Congratulations, Manda, you are doing so great!

My restriction varies; I have days where I can eat more, followed by days (sometimes weeks) where I struggle to get it all in. I have no idea why it flip flops around like that.

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

1st Day of (3 weeks worth of) Optifast: Jan. 11, 2017

Surgery Date: Feb. 1st, 2017

Thanks Kathy!

I have those days too, where i seem to eat more, and than not too. I hear its normal, so I don't concern myself too much with it.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Thanks Lee-Ann! They said in Windsor my full feeling would probably go away some as I progressed...not sure why they thought that, but nope, my full feeling has been as strong as day 1. Obviously I can eat a bit more than in the beginning, but I'm thankful for that feeling.

Yup, were all different and you have done such a great job too, remember that!!

Thanks for the kind words and support like always!

Good morning Amanda,

I couldn't agree with you more. We've been on the same timeline and I have received so much encouragement, advice and support from you. I believe the more we give, the more we get. If it wasn't for those on the site, whom I consider to be mentors due to their time out and their commitment to helping semi-newbies like us, I don't believe I would be as successful.

The weight lost is only one measurement. Your overall health - physical, mental and emotional, your commitment to the program, your ability to embrace change, sharing individual experiences, and a positive outlook all add to one's success.

You are successful, my friend, in every way.

Linda
