So frustrated!!

It's been a year and three months of waiting and I FINALLY had my appointment with the surgeon today, only to find out that they wouldn't be scheduling my surgery until February or March.

Anyone else at TWH ready to pull their hair out? I feel like this is just never going to happen!

It was over a year for me too and then I was told end of December. I was so disappointed. Then I got put on the cancellation list and was called the same day. I just had my surgery a few days ago....so there is hope. I know it is rough waiting...so very frustrating. I wish for you the patience you will need and I sincerely hope and pray that your time comes sooner than expected.

Hi there,

The waiting really is the worst part.

I was successful in moving my surgery up by getting on the cancellation list. The process is very specific; you go through the nurse, Sharon. If you don't have her information, and getting on the cancellation list is an option for your schedule, feel free to message me and I'll walk you through the steps.

Sharon is amazing and lovely and it saved me months of waiting.

((Hugs))

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.

Thank you all. I've asked to be added to the cancellation list, so fingers crossed. I already feel a bit better venting on here haha

You know... cancellations are a funny thing... i'm such a control freak that I would probably go nuts I have to get my hair cut, my hair dyed ...I would have to get all my dental appointments .. then I would have to pack... shop and cook... I am NOT low maintenance.. so it will be the long road for me.. see OAAT.. I owned it.. ;)

I know it's frustrating, but hang in there; it will happen. I had to wait over 2 and a half years for surgery. It was super frustrating to wait so long, but totally worth it in the end.

Thanks Kathy. Wow, 2.5 years, that's brutal - I'm glad that it is behind you! I'm trying to focus on knowing it will all be worth it, but it's awful not having any control and just waiting.
