Need honest opinions

I am posting these pics because I need encouragement and I need to hear good comments. The people that I was relying on heavily to support me seem to be getting bitter and only have negative things to say about my journey. So I know I can come here and get what I need and you all will be honest at the same time.

The first pic is a week before surgery, the second pic was at 2 months post surgery and the last one was on September 11th, 2017.

It may not be huge visual differences but I am living again, I am moving, I am so close to happy. I don't have to wear slip on shoes, I can bend and tie my laces, I can cross my legs, I can reach the itch on my back, and finally I don't have to worry about falling in the shower or getting cramps in my sides when trying to wash myself!

You can definitely see loss in your face. The scale and clothes will tell you a lot. So will how you feel. Listen to your body, your clothes and the scale. Ignore the haters.

Hi Lisa,

The loss is definitely noticeable. You look great! And by your ticker, it looks like you've had some significant loss.

It's always so unfortunate when the people we think will support us don't.

You got this, girl. Keep doing what you're doing cause it's working!!!

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.

How can people have such negative things to say with those incredible nsv's!!! Those you listed alone are priceless and I cannot wait to hit each one of them. You should be so proud of this journey! As for the pictures there's a significant change and you look great! I'm sorry you're not getting the support you need. I totally understand. You always have us here so reach out for encouragement whenever you need it!

I can absolutely see the weight loss in your pics. It sounds like your quality of life has greatly improved as well as your mobility.

YAY FOR YOU !!!

Keep doing what your doing, and let the hater's hate. You can't control what they think and say, but you can show em' all how you kicked butt at losing the weight.

Congratulations..

First of all.. I can see a big difference- congrats!!! And.. from what I have been reading.. people close to you may be just plain jealous.. they expect you to be one way and now you are changing into someone who is putting herself first.... but now they are showing you who they really are-- not such great friends.. and family can get that way too!! Keep going girl!!!

You can definitely see a difference, and it sounds like you're having a much easier time in your day to day life and honestly that's amazing. That's what we're all doing this for so don't let other peoples negativity get to you. You're doing amazing!

Like the others said, you certainly can see the difference. You're doing amazing. Let the haters hate. There will always be negative people. Learn to ignore them and if you can't you will have to avoid them all together. This is your journey and nobody elses. Own it, and be successful. Keep up the awesome work Lisa. Remember to take your measurements regularly. It's not always about the number on the scale.

Take care.

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

I can totally see a big difference. You had surgery in June and are already down so much weight; that's amazing! The NSV's are also life changing! You're rocking this! I'm sorry your supports at home are letting you down. Maybe they are jealous.
