5 months out - - gas pains??
Hi all,
The last few days I have been suffering with so much gas pain...from my esophagus through my intestines...it is everywhere!! I am with TWH so they only gave me 3 months of the meds they use for gas. I have purchased GasX which works a little. Anyone else experience this?
I have not made any changes to what I have been eating...this just popped up all of a sudden! Any advice would be great!

I had RNY - and it feels like gas...all over! I am burping quite a bit too. So at least it is releasing. But very similar to shortly after surgery when the gas pain was everywhere.

We were told some people need it longer...Doug had his doctor give him another prescription for it. He is almost a year post op and takes it once a day.
Have your doctor give you more...if that doesn't help get it checked. I from time to time have gas issues but only if I didn't have a bm in a couple days.

I am almost certain it is gas pain. It is all over...and I am somewhat leaking gas LOL! which will give temporary relief, but it is coming back.
It has settled down this afternoon. I took a GasX after lunch.

When my ulcer perforated i had what i would consider gas pain which was in my shoulders and back as it was after surgery

how long til the gas pain in the shoulders goes away, btw? I am 13 days out and still have it and don't know how to get relief from it. Ugh.
