I'm glad you posted - people need to be aware that with any surgery there are risks. You have to read and educate yourself before you decide if this is the path you want to choose.

I hope you get home soon and get this outta the way so you can get back to being fabulous and come back to our meetings!! We miss you. Everyone was thinking of you last night as we were sitting around and chatting. So glad you decided to go to emergency! Smart move! Get better soon

i am glad you are getting the help you require

i felt I was being Spain this morning when I called the post op nurses AGAIN with questions

butnow I feel that things can go wrong more than two days after surgery so I should be paying attention

take ken care of yourself and keep us updated

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I am glad that I posted, I really want to encourage you listen to your bodies and self advocate.

Today, Tuesday was the first day I was able to keep some fluid down, a big accomplishment after 5 days of being unable to keep anything down. The Dr. Has put me on a new anti nausea medication and I credit it with my positive day. I am still on an IV and will not be going home until I am able to have a normal fluid intake. Today was a good day!
