I still just use Premiere shakes. I dont find anything about them tasty. Just trying to get in my 60g of protein. I do enjoy broths and flavoured teas. Had a couple spoons of oatmeal this am...pretty good. Very watered down and im 2 weeks out. So a bit ahead of you. I dont feel hungry at all. Just want cold water.

OOk so .. cold brew decaf coffee and vanilla or chocolate whey isolate - I use Precision. Also Diesel Hot chocolate - ok warm hot chocolate is good.

The secret to a shake is add skim milk- The NUT said to use skim milk however to make it fun you can also add unsweetened almond milk.

Add some ice - not lots. (Post op)

Have fun with them ...ProteinCo has great flavours and a wide range of flavours- even a sample pack! Free shipping!

Last but not least Premier has now come out with an organic shake it doesn't have the highest quality ingredients- but- no I never did this myself apparently you can heat it up and drink it as hot chocolate.

Hope this helps!

Oh and FYI apparently some people are making Popsicles out of it this will be my next project

...LOL

I use premier. I love a chocolate shake with a shot of decaf espresso. tastes like a mocha. there are lots of recipe's on premier's site you can try. I liked the pumpkin cheesecake shake in the early days. I also added PB2 to get peanut butter flavour. I also used premier protein to make puddings. that was good.

Yes .. quick but not great ingredients ( sorry Premier advocates) best ingredients are ones with only non GMO New Zealand whey- available at healh food stores - Diesel, Precision, Sisu, Progressive are some. Best to mix in soups etc is Now Pro unflavoured.

I know the Premier fans will get upset but I had to state the facts as stated by 3 health advocate sources. Also a body building site, a trainer and me.

I love the question. I'm having a really hard time finding anything palatable just a few days out from surgery. I was all gung ho to make my own shakes. They are not working for me! Yesterday, I got some Premier and had half of one.

Do I like it? No. But i only like water and soup!!! I can slowly sip the Premier. And slowly eat cottage cheese. I figure that's good enough for me for now.

Looking forward to this all getting easier in the days and weeks to come!!
