Post Op RNY 16-1/2 mos

Good morning everyone! I have had a couple of sad days, our Fire Chief passed away on Monday afternoon during a battle with cancer. He was only 56 years old and was due to retire in January. He was my coach/mentor for my C25K program. He was such a phenomenal man, kind and always full of encouragement. The community has lost a great Chief.

Today is my Thursday. Off on Friday this week for an extended weekend. We will be going camping. Regular routine today, gym this morning, walk at lunch.

B - 1 egg and cheese slice on 1/2 English muffin

S - premier protein chocolate shake

L - taco salad

S - deli turkey with cheese

D - chicken sausage with blueberries and strawberries in cool whip

Total Cal - 1060, Carbs 52, Protein 119

Have a great day

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Sorry to hear. I read it online. He was young and went fast it seemed. Very sad.

I am sorry Ginny. My husband may have known him; the fire community is a small one full of support.

I didn't get home until 10 last night and hadn't eaten since noon. I need to pack something in my purse just in case. I woke up tired and didn't plan well for today, so my menu is quite simple.

B - 1/2 protein bar and black decaf.

L - 1/2 protein bar

S - Armstrong cheese stick

D - (from last night) 2 oz. salmon, steamed green beans with 1 tbsp. parmesan

S - Skyr and frozen berries

His name was Rob Broadbent. He spent his entire career here in St. Thomas, so his death has had quite an impact on the community. The Fire Musters Festival was supposed to be this weekend and they have cancelled it out of respect for Rob and his family.

Good morning :)

Ginny, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. That is sad that he was so young.

Yet another interview this morning... This one is a part time retail position. Not really what I'm looking for, but would at least help pay the bills for a bit ;)

I'm so happy with how yesterday went... DH and I met for lunch at the mall food court and I got a piece of chicken with feta. Then I had a bunless burger for dinner with a side of Greek yogurt.

Post-op two years and five months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - turkey sausage

Lunch - bunless burger

Snack - Greek yogurt with almonds

Dinner - something meaty tbd

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Ginny I am sorry to hear of your friend's passing.

I am very late posting it has been a pretty rough day. Yesterday I wrote I was 5 days post op but my math was wrong I was only 4 days. I managed 53g of protein and all my water.

Today I tried a new protein powder which resulted in nausea and vomiting. I stuck to sips of water the rest of the day, I only had 30g of protein.
