Sleep study. Not able to sleep

Hi guys, so I had my sleep test done about 5 weeks ago. It was horrendous. It was hot, no ambiant noise, I could hear every door open and the techs keyboard, and the monitor/leads fell off every time I flinched. I think the longest I slept was for 1 hour 45 min. Do you think I will have to redo it?

I'm full of so much anxiety over the thought of redoing it

Thanks

No.. you won't have to redo it.. I couldn't sleep at mine either... but they were able to get enough data from what I did sleep... think mine was like an hour...lol...

I know. It's the worst!...and all that gunk they use that gets in your hair. Hopefully you won't have to go through that again!

Oh Gosh...I meant to say also, that I also barely slept and they seemed to get the data that they needed. Good luck.

Quick off topic question. How did you get your stats/dates under your name like you do?

They only been about 45 minutes of sleep, so I think you'll be fine :)

I am praying I don't need a sleep study, but I can't see them skipping it :(

I only slept for 1 hour years ago and they got it.

I have to go next month....grrrrr...... and you can't even take a relaxation pill......

I think you are ok!

I couldnt sleep but about and hour and they got all the info they needed.

Watch though as i had a really hard time with the cpap (if you do need it) i have been labeled cpap intolerant.

Which is not something that is good especially after surgery. try really hard to use your cpap if you can. it can take a while. (i tried for 8 months every day i didn't work and have to get up early. i would lie there tossing and turning until 4 am when i would throw the mask off in frustration and fall asleep it was awful) but not a lot of people are like me. stick with it if you can.

i am just hopeful that the surgery eliminates the need for the cpap

Good luck. and dont worry!

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!
