Timeline for Surgery after meeting Surgeon - Hamilton?
Just got a call from the Bariatric clinic. The second round of blood tests turned out ok (vitamin D, Calcium, Etc...everything is good now) so I can go ahead and meet the surgeon. They told me that I can except a call from them to set up the appointment and they are looking to schedule this appointment sometime in September. So...I will meet the surgeon in September. Does anyone from Hamilton know what the timeline for surgery will be after that?
Also, just wanted to say thank you for all of you who have encouraged me when I was feeling down. It really helped. The waiting is hard!

I met the surgeon July 11th and was told there 90 surgeries to book ahead of me once they got the September and October OR schedule. She does have the schedule as of the start of this week (I got a VM confirming I was on the cancellation list now but she is working her way through the list and I will get a call with a date). I am still waiting but based on how many June appointments were ahead of me I don't think I am going to be until late October if I fit into the available OR dates.
Something to note is Meagan does not answer her phone ever and you are dependent on her calling you back. If you do not hear from her in a week with an appointment just call and leave a message and just say that since you were not actually in the office when you got the go ahead that you want to make sure you are not getting missed in the shuffle.
