I agree about the prednisone; I've taken it many times over the past 30 years and it did keep me alive when nothing else worked, but for me the side effects were awful too.

Thankfully my asthma has been under control since losing all of this weight. I don't even need my ventolin any more but keep it with me, just in case. No more advair or other inhaled meds.

Glad you were able to see your doctor. Hope you get some relief soon.

I will always remember my brother when he first started doing his own laundry away from home. He used a different detergent than we had at home. He developed a rash where his underwear touched. All over front and back. Being his younger sister I of course found this really funny.
