I survived !!! Yesterday went smoothly and Im now in recovery stage . I also had my gallbladder removed yesterday, apparently the Dr said he couldn't believe the mount of gallstones my gallbladder had ! So I should feel a lot better once I'm all recovered. Recovery for me thoug isn't going as I thought I'm having trouble even sipping water, I get a lot of pressure in my chest and it's not fun! I can't even lay down . I have had very little rest because of this ans constantly getting hiccups which kills my stomach . Waiting to see a Dr. as to why this is happening .

Hopefully you feel a lot better soon! Wow, crazy news about your gallbladder. Glad that was taken care of. The hiccups sound awful... So glad to hear the surgery went well. Get well quickly and keep us posted!

OH No - I hope it all gets sorted. I let them know they can take mine with me when they are in there - no sense in keeping it if it going to give me stones later on - they said they actually used to but now they don't. Oh well you are good to go. Feel better soon Friend. I am so happy for you. Once you get through this bit you will feel better.....

Glad you made it! The inflammation will hopefully subside soon for you. And yes, even little sips may hurt, it's hard to get adjusted to the little amount you can consume at once

Best of luck!!

Yes it is very hard to adjust to the little sips especially when the smallest sip just hurts so bad !! I hoping that's it's just the inflammation like you said . Has me really worried that I can't have anything ATM .

I am still waiting for my RNY but I remember from my Lapband the horrible chest feeling and how much hiccups hurt. For me it was from all the gas they use to inflate tour stomach. Walking is the best thing to calm that down. It sucks, I remember just standing there crying from the pain as people kept telling me to walk. In the end walking was what worked and the feeling does go away.

Keep taking care of yourself! You are on the right side of the fence now!

You are in the best possible place. It does get better quickly but the first few days can be challenging. Good news about the gallbladder. Rest. Sip. Toot. And walk when you are able. Xo
