completely petty, I know, BUT...
I went through this as well. Where I had hoped folks would have noticed I was shrinking, many did not except for recently. All I hear now is
"WOW"
"Hey Skinny"
"I hardly recognized you"
My close friends that did not notice in most cases are now seeing it and commenting.
Don't worry, They all notice it when the clothes fit better, hang less and show off the new Body!!

I am ONLY 5'0 and I have lost a total of 28lbs....my friend who literally notices NOTHING, was the only person to notice.
However, I do think my other "friends" notice but won't say a word...thats another topic though! LOL

i know what you mean about certain 'friends ' but luckily I haven't run into those people yet.

Be happy about that. I hated people asking me how much I lost. Commenting that I looked good since i lost weight.
I had a friend who honestly never paid attention to my size. He was a gentlemen who would never comment on lady losing or gaining. He was from an old school- don't talk about age or weight. Never.

I bet people will start commenting on your loss soon. 25 lbs in a month is amazing! Nobody seemed to notice that I was losing weight until I'd lost 50lbs. I felt bad at the time that no one said anything, but now, I wish people would stop talking about it.

I had this happen too. Leading up to surgery I lost 50lbs by eating better and exercising. I put in so much hard work and it was only my family that noticed. Then I go off for surgery and lose another 25lbs. Now everyone notices and thinks I lost it all overnight. It was frustrating for awhile.

It took about 60 for people to start noticing. I've gone from a size 20 to a 4/6 and now I'm getting tons of comments, and lots of people still don't. It goes from that to "you can stop now".
