Thank you so much!

I should have explained in my post that my cake is a fake...it's a mini watermelon cut in the shape of a cake, covered with a thin layer of low cal cool whip, decorated with berries. It was soooo good, and healthy too.

Someone here at OH suggested it a few months ago but unfortunately I can't remember who.

No worries Kathy. The cake is a joke for us Ottawa folks who met the other night. As we were leaving, the coffee shop offered us a huge carrot cake instead of throwing it out. Oh the irony!!!

We all took a piece for our kids and / or partners and Mahalo was telling me not to eat it. Which I did not :-) My wife enjoyed it and my neighbor got the other half.

Your cake sounds good.

Oh, that sounds like so much fun. The carrot cake sounds yummy, lol. You're right; ironic!

We all kind of gasped...then had a good laugh over it.

Hi Kathy!

You look amazing!!! What a difference from a year ago. I will have to do that when I get further out, as I'm stlll struggling to really notice all this wonderful weight loss I have experienced.

You have done so well, getting so close to the 100lbs mark and not far away from onederland, you should be so proud of yourself.

It's so freeing as we lose weight, and all those limitations slowly disappear and aches and pains ease up, and hopefully go away completely. Were not trapped in our bodies. This is definitely an emotional journey for sure.

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better about yourself both physically and mentally. I'm getting there too, slowly but surely. Still have lots of weight to go, but I'm getting there one day at a time.

Great post, keep up the great work Kathy!

Good luck on your continued journey and success!

Thank you, Manda. You're doing great too; you've lost so much already! Enjoy every day of the journey; I plan to try, at least, lol. I know there will be some bad days, but thankfully more good than bad now.

Hugs.

Everyone was looking at your face - and I was looking at your sexy shoulders - lol. Isn't it great that you are not only wearing a size large, and are so close to losing 100 lbs. and to onederland, but you are biking every day, choosing clothes that you like (and don't just fit), and are so grateful to be on this journey. It isn't easy, but it is rewarding.

I agree with Wayne, I don't know who's happier - you or your mom!

Congratulations and continued success Kathy.

LOL; thanks. It's hard to get used to these cold shoulder style tops, and I have to remember to put sunscreen on my shoulders when I wear them.

It is a super rewarding journey. I"m so happy I did this. We are all living new lives now.
