Journey update

inspired by the last titled post like this. Here is my update.

I am 11 weeks out. Highest weight 240. Opti weight 233. Current weight 178.2.

I tolerate all foods and have have never had dumping. Unfortunately I have tried some sugar and carbs and they do not fill me and do not make me sick so I totally have to control those food issues with planning and honesty.

I am still quite tired. I work about 60 hours a week. Travel a lot and have 2 busy boys and a farmer husband.

I feel hopeful for the the first time I. Years. I look forward to planning summer time without dreading the heat and sticky mess I use to get.

I am not yet at at the point where I feel "thin" but I definitely fell more confident and I don't hate myself when I look in the mirror. I have hated myself for a long time.

I smile more. I care about my appearance more. I have not regretted this not even once.

you are doing great and are truly an inspiration.

I have to admit though, I am a little worried about how many post-op people say how tired they are. I was really hoping to have more energy once losing weight.

I have much more energy than I did before. You might not the first couple of weeks though. Your body will need time to recover and adjust, but I think once it does you will feel just fine.

Good morning Leeann,

I'm four weeks behind and always read your posts with great interest. Thank you for sharing your journey and being an inspiration. Life is busy, especially considering your work week, and it's hard to fit in all that we need to do. It's hard to put ourselves first.

Like CC, I love your last line and agree 100%.

Continued success!
