When are they going to call me?

Just kidding. :p I know you all don't know, but I'm so anxious! My dietitian has approved, my scope came back with nothing strange, so now I just waiting for the call to meet the surgeon. I'm not the best at waiting.

Anyone else just waiting around, trying not to drive everyone around you nuts??

Waiting is the worst!! I am just waiting for my orientation and I am thinking about it non stop. I can't even imagine at your stage!!!

iI am not driving anyone nuts though, cause I haven't told anyone yet. Haha. I imagine I'll be a pest eventually :)

Ughh I am so impatiient looking for reasons to call or badger them to get my appointments earlier. Im in the same boat still waiting for orientation, I'll be climbing the walls.just before surgery. Just you wait and see.lol

I was just about to post a similar question. I've had my first Orientation Meeting March 8th and will have a couple of follow up doc apts. scheduled in June and July, but what is really driving me crazy - is the wait. How long does it normally take to find out if you are a candidate for surgery? How long has this journey been for you so far?

My appointments have all been quite quick, but I think it completely depends on where you are. Your waits are totally different from what I experienced. I hope the time passes quickly for you!

Give the hospital a call. I'm going through TWH. Called them the day after I knew my file was going through rounds and they gave me my meet the surgeon appointment.

They called me today for the appointment! Ahhhhhh. Things are happening. I'm so excited and terrified!

I totally get it. My insurance has a 5-month program requirement before my dr can even submit for authorization. I've met the surgeon, the nutritionist, done the psych consult, my support groups, the classes they require. No guarantee that insurance will approve it right away, but hoping for beginning of August. Driving me nuts!!! Solidarity!!
