I'd lost 20 lbs by six weeks out. You may need to lower your expectations a bit. I know you read about people losing 30 lbs the first month, but that's at the extreme high end of the range. You are very normal, so no worries.

Everyone loses weight at a different rate. And, you are not very far out from your surgery. Your body is adjusting to many things, the new "norm" of malnutrition, the change in your protein/carb intake, the effects of the general anesthesia, your lessened activity level. You may not see movement on the scale; I bet you are losing inches. The body needs to catch up. Be prepared that the weight just doesn't fall off - it will go in spurts and starts. I have hit my first "stall" and have been stuck at 171-174 for about a month. Doing my damdest to break free of it. I know my body just needs to catch up.
