I took years to get these wonderful well rounded bodies, I am prepared to wait a year or two to reach goal. It's not a race. Slow and steady and the fact you are losing makes you a Winner!!!

You are doing great Leeann. If you have done so, take all of your measurements now. It will surprise you that you will be losing inches and yet that darn scale won't budge.

I think 23 pounds in 6 weeks is awesome. You are an inspiration to me!

I am 5 weeks today and I've lost 20.4lbs since surgery. From what I've heard this is quite normal!

But I know what you mean :)

You are doing incredibly well and appear to be adjusting to every new stage in your eating plan. Have you measured yet? I thought I'd wait until completing my first month then measure. I'm sure you have noticed a big difference. The scale has always been slow for me and, at least at this point in time, I don't care. If I'm doing what I should be doing - as you are, it is considered a success.

Great job and continued success!

You are right. I am feeling it in my clothes for sure. Have already gone down to smaller sizes and given some of my clothes away. My bmi has gone from 44 to 36. Yippie

Hey Lee-Ann!

Haven't been on in several days, thus the late reply.

You are doing great! We all lose at different rates. Some slower, and yes some faster, and I know we all wish we lost faster but you will get to were your going! As long as the scale keeps going down, you are doing all the right things, aside from stalls which are totally normal and not an indictation of eating the wrong things. Hang in there, I know its tough!
