I have such a hard time with oatmeal - I love the taste, but when it is cooked, I can't deal with the consistency. I'm sure I spit my pablum out at my mother as well (lol). It is so healthy and adding dry flavourings and more unflavoured protein powder makes it such a good choice.

Maybe after the Opti I will try it - it may taste much better then.

This was one of my questions I had for the dietician last week. It says oatmeal on the liquids stage but my oatmeal is always kind of thick.

She said its no problem at all and oatmeal is 100% ok on the liquid stage. I'm happy for that as it is something I really enjoy.

I make my cream of wheat with 3/4 cups of milk, but it still thickens too much so i add add a quarter cup to half cup of premier protein to it after it is cooked, to make it runny. Yesterday it brought the protein count of my breakfast up to 21 grams.

I just bought some oatmeal yesterday and am going to do the same, but may try chocolate premier protein, lol. Someone just suggested it and it sounds yummy.

Hello

You are probably going to think I am crazy but I actually eat the Heinz Baby Oatmeal... I add Beneprotein pack. I find it light and easy to eat.

It is the only starch that I have.

I can't imagine making my own Oatmeal.

Good for you

Sandra
