Happy Sunday!

welcome back from vacation.  You've brought the sun back with you - thanks!

renovations can be tough, but when it's finally done, I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.

Yesterday I got stuck away from home more than 3 hours longer than expected.  Stupidly, I never packed any food to take with me.  I wasn't feeling well, obviously too long between meals.  I struggled to figure out what I could grab.  First I thought timmy's has Greek yogurt, but when I looked it up it had 25g of sugar.  Maybe not the best choice, but I ended up at Taco Bell and ate the filling from a bean burrito (not the wrap).   Lesson learned, I hope.

B - scrambled egg with spinach and cheese

L - tuna with saltines

D - plan on having chicken breast.  Had good luck with them the other day, bake in stewed tomatoes.

Tim's has a chili I have sometimes grabbed. I now through in a protein bar if I am not sure. I seldom have them otherwise but they are great when stranded without food

I thought about chili, but I haven't eaten red meat in almost 30 years.  I couldn't bring myself to try.

I don't think I'm allowed protein bars just yet. I have my 1 month nutrition class this week so I'll ask about them.  I think they would be super handy to keep in an situation like that.

Thanks!!

Tuna packs keep well in your purse.  You can always eat the egg out of an Egg McMuffin and ditch the bread.  Starbucks has an egg white wrap that is good and they serve it all day long.  You could eat the egg out of that.  In the early months I would order an egg sandwich from Tim Hortons and ask them to put the egg and sausage in an oatmeal cup and toast the muffin part and put it on the side.  DH got the muffin and sausage and I got the egg and cheese.

Great ideas - thanks!  I heard McDonalds is going to all day breakfast.  That will make an egg an option not matter what the time.

Our friends rented the ice at Bud Gardens today so my hubby and kids went skating and I watched. Then got my son's skates sharpened. Did groceries and now I'm eating lunch waiting to take my son to a hockey game against a really good team. I bought stuff to make cream of cauliflower soup so I'm not sure if I'll make it tonight or tomorrow.

B- egg and cheese

L- over easy egg on a  piece of weigh****chers toast

D- premier protein

S- skyr strawberry yogurt

My pouch is being nice today and handling food. I'm also eating a lot slower than normal. So maybe I was eating too fast even though I didn't think I was.

Cals: 401, protein 51 and carbs 25.

I may not make it through my lunch fully.
