Good morning!   I'm at an appointment this morning so I grabbed a protein shake for breakfast.  I really don't like them...but convenient.

I'm thinking so refried beans for lunch, haven't had any in a while.  Going to try chicken for dinner.   Hope it goes down well.  I've read others have had some issues.

I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys the long weekend!!

Always good to try new foods. Just make sure the chicken is moist. Thighs tend to be tolerated better than breast meat.

There are a few different shakes out there. GNC carries a few I believe. Just be sure they are whey isolate

I didn't eat any meat at all for over 25 years.  In the past 5 or so I have added a little, but I'm so picky about it.  I don't think I can do chicken thighs.  Boneless, skinless breasts are all I could bring myself to eat.   I'm really hoping if it's very moist, I'll be ok.  I'll take it slow.

Someone had suggested I try shrimp.  I've opened my mind up a bit on that one.  Plan to try.  Maybe I can do same with chicken thighs.

Thanks for the suggestion!

You can dip the chicken in bbq sauce, hot sauce or I make the swiss chalet dipping sauce!!

I hope I'm not setting a bad example.

I've sort of blended my puréed and mashed into one stage. I've been lucky because egg and tuna salad have been fine just broken up with a fork.  I haven't had to blend much.

I enter everything into my fitness pal. My protein is normally 62-68 grams, but I'm a bit worried at how high my fat grams are.  Maybe too much cheese, even though I try and get the lighter versions.

How have you been doing?  Any favourite meals at this stage?

Good morning.  TGIF and soo looking forward to the long weekend, though mine will be cut short with some travel.  Planning do do daily walks on the beach this weekend with the dog since the weather is supposed to mild.  Made a instantpot meal which chicken, broth, garlic, zucchini, red pepper  and some Skyr.  Last last.  Will be eating that over the next few days.

Mini goal for this week is to be 185 or lower by next weekend even with the travel during the week.  To my shock I tried on a pair of size 12 jeans I used to wear 10 years ago and they fit!  I'm wearing them today...they must be a big 12 is all I can say because I'm comfortably a 14 pant now.  In a 10-12 dress, but definitely a 14 pant.

so today am eating:

b-overnight oats with chia and premier and apple

s-1/2 overnight oats

l-chilli

S-chocolate Chia Pudding made with premier

D-chicken with zucchini and red pepper

will do my usual 10k steps
