Good luck Linda.  I heard from another that the Biotene toothpaste also helps and a lip balm.  Everyone told me how dry they were after the surgery and the ice chips helped.

You'll do great!

Good Luck Linda!  Tomorrow will be my 3 week post-op with Dr Klein at Humber.  I had a very good experience at that hospital.  Very little pain, only some discomfort when trying to drink.  As soon as the swelling (around day 3) went down, that wasn't an issue any more.   You will most likely get a private room - which is awesome!!  Nurses were great.

I brought very little, toothbrush and toothpaste, wore same clothes home that I wore there.  I had my phone and charger.   You'll need a credit card if you want the tv or internet service.  I never did - slept too much to make use of it.

How exciting, I had my surgery there on October 28/16.  I had Dr. Starr. My experience was great, the staff were so helpful and kind. I only stayed one night but wish I had brought a pillow. My neck was sore for days after. And slippers and a few magazines.  They give you everything u need in paper format for follow up  appointments. Good luck ?
