Opti-smell

i am on day 6 of opti. I like it. Tastes good and I am full with no care for food at all. BUT today at Church my husband urged me to find a mint or piece of gum. Just singing he could smell my breath. After dinner I tooted and it was just inhumane. Yuck. 

That ketosis breath and best get used to it as you will likely be in ketosis for months after surgery.  It is almost metallic tasting yet smells sort of like old fruit that is ready for the compost. SFmints will be your friend.  I brushed my teeth after every shake and still had the stinky breath.  One good thing about it is that it means you are burning ketones.

Tic tacs may be your friend. As mentioned above. You will be hopefully in ketosis for awhile. You lose best in thi state

I drink a lot of peppermint tea which is decaf....and I find it helps my stinky breath a fair amount.

Oh yeah...been there !!!! LOL

I've told this story before but......

my hubby was gaging in the kitchen, checking kitchen  cupboards convinced there was a dead mouse or something lurking about.....well...no rotting mouse....it was my plastic shaker OPTI cup !!!!     OMG!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!

LOL

And I thought there was so much to look forward to ... lol.

Mona Lisa doesn't only make me smile, but laugh out loud.  Too funny.  I won't share your comments with my husband - it will be fun to watch him search our cupboards.
