Got the call on Friday, that I get to meet my Surgeon on March 17th at TWH!  Getting so excited one step closer to Surgery date :)

A question I did have, those of you who had surgery, 1 did you get oxygen in recovery? and 2 how long were you in recovery for?  I had my GB out in Jan of 2016 and they said they had a hard time waking me up and my oxygen wouldnt stay above 95 in recovery.  That was a day surgery and I know I will be admitted for the RNY, but just curious of other peoples recoeverys.

Thanks all :)

That is so exciting.....yes you will get oxygen....hubby did.  He had it for the rest of the day night when he wasn't on his Cpap machine.  I was told hubby would be in recovery for 2 to 3 hours when he was at TWH and that was correct...don't worry u are in good hands.
