I just got my surgery date... April 24th .. Im happy and excited that its real... Its happening... But also thinking that its still about 10 weeks... Its a long time!

I asked to be put on the cancelation list and I already have my opti fast..so.... I guess I just need to be patient from now on.

I was wondering about the cancelation list... .   I really wanted to get this done and over with before April.

Have anyone been put on cancelation list too?? How long until we get a call??

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The best thing with TWH is to keep calling. Call them once a week to see if you're able to be moved up. I did this with appointments and finished all mine 5 months after orientation. Then when my surgeon appointment was cancelled and I heard they were offering the chance to go to Guelph for surgery I did the same. Time from referral to surgery was 11 months.

April is not very far away. Use the time to make any changes you need to do. I have added you to the surgery list

CONGRATS!  AND AT TWH wow, you made it through the backlog!  Time will fly by, i agree with pam make the changes now.  I started to make changes last week and I'm glad I have some time to "ramp up".  It a lot more planning to get the right food in than I thought...so now I know what i'm in for...i look forward to the first few weeks post op so that I can get a rest from all the planning!

Hopefully my taste doesn't change after post op...there are some "go to" food that I have identified that are easy, hopefully i'll still like them!
