Surgery moved up!

AHHHHH!!!!! I am following your journey as I feel its a bit similar to mine. SO EXCITED for you!!

I just got my next appoints - Doctor & Social Worker (Next week), Nutrition Class (Feb. 7)!!! The nurse thinks I will move through the process pretty quickly (but I am not holding my breath) as I had all my testing completed and medical records sent. I. CANT. WAIT. 

I was lucky getting through everything - but my schedule was flexible - I live in Toronto - and kept calling for cancellations - it really was a smooth road for me - no bumps at all - other than having to get the scope which I wasn't planning on - but glad it was done.

I have gotten one cancellation - I was probably driving them crazy, but I kept calling and asking for one! :) January 26 was suppose to be my initial assessment - but I actually had it done December 30th. And January 26th is my Social Worker and Doctor appointment.

I just feel like the ball is rolling and I can't wait to get this thing out.

I remember that my last appt was scheduled to be mid December - then I would have had to meet the surgeon after that - with cancellations I was able to get everything done by Sept 15th - my file was sent to rounds that day - and I received my meet the surgeon date for Nov 8th - and now surgery Jan 23rd

If I just sat back and waited - I likely would not have even met with the surgeon yet :)

You know what they say about the squeaky wheel...lol
