Question for those who just had surgery and are taking time off work.

I knew I was covered for 6 weeks so I asked the surgeon for that. Really all depends on your job. I'm a nurse and on feet and do lifting. Just speak to your surgeon. If you feel you need more time then speak to your centre or gp at least week before return. Many employers have gradual return. I used the last couple weeks to concentrate on diet.

I'm asking my family dr. to fill mine in. I have a desk job as well but I was surprised when the surgeon at Guelph said 4 weeks. I'm asking my family dr for 6 weeks. I see him tomorrow so I will let you know how that goes. The form doesn't have to be filled out by the surgeon.
