Hello everyone...

I have been quite busy & have not had a chance to post...

My first week went well.  Able to get 90 GMS of Premier Protein, 1 1 & 1/2 litres of water, 1 litre of teas, & all my vitamins.

Had my first week post op follow up went well & I was that I lost 12 lbs.

Friday,  I started the puréed diet & I am tolerating it well...

I can't believe how amazing everything tastes.

I am quite active, maybe a bit too active some times...

Okay.... I am going to say it!!!! I still can't believe that I had the RNY January 4th... I feel great!

My only question is how much volume can I eat?  I don't really feel full.

Thank you all for your support....

Sandra

Glad to hear you are doing so well :)

I started with a tablespoon at a time. I don't think we will feel that fullness for awhile yet. I keep forgetting to eat.

Good job with the protein! I can't use the premier so its been a challenge for me.

At this early out I'd be surprised if you could eat a quarter of a cup. You won't feel full because Many of your nerves have been cut and still need to heal.

dont chase the full feeling. Eat your measured portion and stop when it's gone.

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Hi Sandra,

So glad you had a good first week!  It sounds like you're doing great with your protein and water, and congrats on the amazing weight loss!

Pureed food; yay!

If you're not full, does that mean you feel hungry?  I hope not; that would be awful.

Good luck!

I forgot to mention, I used just a tiny drop.  I think more would be too much and not taste very good.

I have read a few times that people do not feel "full" ... that is a bit scary - when do we start to feel full?
