Transfer to Guelph!

Hello OH Family!  Happy New Year!  

So I called TWH today and looks like my file went through rounds and I am approved for surgery!  YAY!  And I too will likely be going to Guelph.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the file to be transferred there?

Lori at Guelph said they are booking end of the month...so I'm pretty excited if I could get in ASAP!

Pretty quick. Just keep calling both until its done! I was able to tentatively book surgeon appt while waiting for my file to be transferred

I had my surgery 12 days ago. Am down 14 lbs. no issues drinking or eating. Ive had no pain other than gas. One minor issue with being impacted yesterday but a suppository quickly helped that. Im doing well ?

Mine took less than a week. 5 days to be exact lol, and then 6 days from then for my appointment with the surgeon.  And then even with the holidays, my surgery was booked for 3 weeks later.

Hi, when you transferred to Guelph did they transfer all the paperwork from your physician for you. I just got told that they would destroy it and make me complete all new Questioneers. Just sent all completed forms from myself and Physician on Friday via xpress post with signiture and she said they were different than Guelph forms what the heck!! All my Labs and sleep study were in there. Very upsetting. 

I'm still a TWH patient. I was transferred to Guelph for surgery only. I wasn't told that.
