I'm a bit confused now as to which powders we should have? I know the Premier at Costco premade said are a blend now and we don't absorb 100%. So thought I would try powders. Looking at the Dyna Whey from PEI, is this the good one we absorb 100% or not? If not, can someone recommend a kind I can order online in Canada!! So frustrating!! TIA

Hello!

Our weight management centre recommends the Costco Premier Protein shakes post op. Easy, ready and good to go.

I hope they are a good source of protein especially in the first few weeks.

Well at least until I continue onto more dense proteins.

I was also suggested Premier by my clinic and its what I have been using.  Its easy, especially when you are just out of surgery.  You can sip and put it back in the fridge.

I must say, I'm 4 years out and would like to loose my 45-50lb regain! And since Inspire shakes in the states are not an option here,  looking for alternatives! Thanks!

Need to get BOT!! This is my year!!

Canadian Protein is a good site to order from.  But if you are picky (I am uber picky about shakes) if you have a local Popeye's they will let you sample a large portion of what they have before you buy.  I found that quite helpful.

I use "Zero ISOPure", its 100% Whey, zero carbs, 25g protein/scoop. I make one shake (3 scoops of powder) with my magic bullet then put in a blender bottle in the morning, so I get 75g of protein from my shake alone a day, plus whatever other protein source I eat. The shake lasts usually till dinner sipping on it throughout the day. Can get it from bodybuilding.ca... shipping is super quick. I don`t like the Costco stuff, its way to thin feels like I`m drinking spoiled milk lol. I add instant decaf coffee or crystal light mixes to change up the flavours. Yum!!
