Does anyone have any suggestions for both pre-made and powders for protein that does not contain whey?

Thanks

Whey protein is what is suggested for WLS. It is what we digest best and gives us the most protein. Is there a reason you do not want whey

I cannot tolerate it - caused discomfort - possibly an allergy

Hi there, I tried VEga One. It is a pea based protein, and was on the list of approved protein shakes from my clinic. I think the paper said that one specifically, because some of the products in the Vega line are much higher in calories. So you might want to double check.

I thought it tasted fine.

Yes all the vega shakes should be fine. Pea based protein is actually a very high quality protein, comparable to whey. I read a very good article about it last year. If I find it I will send you the link.

See if you can try the pea based one before you buy (I think Popeye's has one) I think they are all super vile.  There is no way I could choke them down.
