RNY  7 Years 7 Months Post Op

Morning

Out the door early for a packed schedule.   Calories are currently low as I'm at a baby shower tonight so leaving some room for (hopefully ) cheese or veg.  Plan on eating my dinner before I go so I can avoid what is actually served.  Pretty sure it won't be WLS friendly.

STEPS :   5276

EATS

B  -  3 oz of roasted chicken mixed with 1.5 TB of light mayonaise

L  -  Lunch is at a wonderful old school steakhouse.   Their garlic bread is drool inducing but I will avoid as there is no such thing as one piece.

       6 oz beef tenderloin

       Broccoli spear

Piece of feta and a garlic pickle while the others eat said glorious garlic bread  ?

D  -  4 oz of roasted chicken breast mixed with 1.5 TB of light mayonaise

This should finish up the rotisserie chicken I bought on Wednesday

S -  oikos greek yogurt

       Liberte Greek yogurt

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are :   Calories -  862,  Carbs  -  31 Grams,   Protein  -  114  Grams

All water and vits

Have a great one

Good morning everyone.  Birdie your menu sounds so good.

Today I'm going swimming, then trying to do more yard work and get the Christmas lights up.  I hear it's supposed to hit 19 degrees here today.  I probably won't turn on the Christmas lights for a while, but I really hate putting them up when it's cold and snowy outside.  Later on DH and I are going out with friends for dinner and live music.  The place where we go to quite often has homemade soup, so if they do and it's not sold out I will opt for that.

The eats are - protein coffee, scrambled eggs with salsa, soup if available, if not salad with goat cheese, Greek yogurt with chia, hemp, and chopped prunes.

Have a great day everyone and enjoy every minute of this perfect fall day.

Morning all. Another day, another dollar. Off to placement soon then work this afternoon. Today i will leave earlier than usual as i have to finish off an assignment and i need resources (leaflets). Don't know why they give us assignments when we don't have time to it, smh. Oh well, will do what i can can. Barb, i still have my chicken from Sunday, lol. Wont be buy rotisserie chicken again in a while.

I think placing at the Salvation Army is good and bad. The good is i get a really good workout. Not only are my steps good, i lift boxes with cans, food, toys etc and i'm really pooped everyday. The bad, they get a s**t load of goodies everyday. The temptation is everywhere. I fight it everyday and it's HARD!!! Then you see the others who work there are so skinny and they eat everything, not fair, lol. Skinny B******s. Ha ha, i'm just venting.

3yrs post op

I work with a lot of skinny people who appear to eat everything. What I have notied is after a binge of crap food they miss meals to make up for it. Even my DH who appeared to be able to eat anything was actually a picky eater. So days of donuts and pizza were ofet by days of little eating. I am kid of happy it has now caught up to him. He now has to watch what he eats.

Thats so true Pat. That girl eats from the time she gets to work, but then at home she doesn't eat she said. Well that and the fact she's had trouble keeping weight on from early age. Lol at your hubby comment.
