Trio appts done... when do I book with surgeon?

I got clearance for surgery from Dr Glazer on Monday.   I had my nurse appointment today.   The nurse told me to wait 2 weeks to call Dr Klein as they need time to put information together.   Do you think she meant make sure the appointment I get with Dr Klein is at least 2 weeks away, or does she mean wait to book for 2 weeks?    I got the impression she meant wait two weeks before even calling, but I'm worried that the appointments will be so far out in the future that it will only delay things.

I think she means to call them in two to book the appointment.  The clinic needs to send the approval to the surgeon first and it takes them time to do that.  However, I called when I did it after the first week and called every few days therafter and got my date.  I was with Dr. Hagan but I would still do that regardless.

I believe it might have been a couple of months at the most.  I could have taken an earlier date but my schedule did not allow me to do that.  I am not sure what the time lines are now though.  Maybe you will find someone who has the same surgeon that has recently booked they may have a better idea but I would think you are looking at November probably. It comes fast believe it or not.  Good Luck.

i had my trio appointment at the beginning of August , was told the same thing to call in 2 weeks but I got a call about a week later. They offered me a date for surgery in August( with Dr Hagen) but it wasn't enough time for me to get ready ( work wise)

i'll be picking up optifast on the 26th and was told that I'd have surgery in October with Dr Klein( who I originally had consultation with)
