who is the expert in revisons?
revision: a change or a set of changes that corrects or improves something.
With baritric surgery, sometimes there are problems that require an additional surgery. Something may need to be fixed.
Sometimes people get one surgery and then revise to another. Lap band to sleeve, lap band to RNY, RNY to DS, etc. The lap band has caused many people a lot of issues so revising from lap band to something else is pretty common and necessary. Sometimes people do not lose much weight from their original surgery and "revise" to another, hoping to lose more weight.

I have had sooo many complications! RNY November 2013 and then a revision September 2015 due to severe bleeding marginal ulcers. I'm currently in IV Pantoloc 24/7 with a PICC line in my arm. I have to wear an IV pump in a bag around my waist. It sucks...but it's this or a complete reversal....ummm no thanks!
I waa was sent to Dr.Hong for a second opinion a few months ago and I think I scared him! I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes and at the end of the conversation he just send me BACK to TWH to have them deal with me.
Its always something...I'm in the hospital every couple of months for something or other Getting a bit tired of this, but I guess it could always be worse.
