Home again

Finally home today after being admitted 3 days ago for what turned out to be a stricture. I have to go back on the 28th for a second endoscopy so they can see if the stricture area needs to be widened again.

For all the frustration involved in finding out I had a stricture, I'm really thankful that Patti the nurse in bariatrics took my pain more seriously then I did. If I had just gone home to wait it out I would be a lot worse off.

Sorry we missed each other in the hospital!  I was so out of it Friday night.  Glad you are back home and feeling better!  And yes, thank goodness the nurse took you seriously.  The nurses were all incredibly knowledgeable and gave me good advice going home ... they are the ones who see the people coming back with problems after the fact.
