Question regarding OTN

Hey all! I'm in Northern Ont. and got a letter the other day from Sudbury saying my appointment with OTN will be set up and they will call me to let me know --- just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get the phone call for the telehealth appointment where I meet my surgeon now that I received this letter? I know patience is key, but I've always been terrible with it

They usually run the first intro class once a month via OTN.  It will still take time to get the rest of your appointments. OTN is usually done at your local hospital or clinic  

I know someone from Sudbury who was referred in Nov 2015 and has her surgery date for the end of September. So it does go much quicker then her in the GTA (must be cuz it's a much smaller center than the in GTA). I had my OTN April 2015 and just have my upcoming meet the surgeon appointment on July 22 I a going through TWH.

It's all been pretty quick -- the main delay for me was my vitamin D was low so I had to be put on a booster.

I went threw Sudbury bariatric and got my letter the last week of Febuary and got a call not even 2 weeks later and had my otn April 2nd.  Surgery was June 16, 2015.  It depends on how backed up they are but it shouldnt be more then a few weeks to 2 months afterwards.  It goes super fast from here on out just so you know.  the longest part of the waiting is over now

I'm in Northern Ontario as well. I didn't get a letter for my OTN meeting. I received phone calls but it was fast...with 3 weeks I think.  There was an equipment problem so I had to reschedule. My next OTN is on July 21st so hopefully you are in that round too
