Maybe if a support group is too daunting, you could meet one person for coffee one on one to start? Are you local to Toronto?

I am in Mimico but if you'd like to meet halfway sometime for a tea or chat by phone, I'd be happy to do that.

I am a newbie too, just had VGS last week, but I've done a lot of research in the process and learned so much from this forum and from a few support groups on Facebook.

Just give me a couple of weeks ;-)
