4 week check up tomorrow

4 week check up tomorrow at TWH - can anyone tell me what to expect? Should I bring my food log?

You'll get there. Fill out a small survey about what you've experienced since surgery (pain, sleeping, bowel movements).  They weigh you and look at your incisions. Then, you go into the room where you had your group nutrition appointment.  It's a group appointment. The dietician speaks with you (basically reviewing everything from that previous group meeting) and you can ask questions. Then the nurse practitioner speaks with you as a group.  Again everyone can ask questions.  Take your binder with the you so you can follow along. They will give you a bunch of blood work forms and tell you to get blood work done 3 weeks before your next appointment two months from now. They will ask if anyone needs back to work letters filled out. That's about it. 

Does the dietitian speak to you one on one or just in a group? Thanks for the info I had no idea it was a group meeting!

In a group. They said this appointment is done this way because everyone has the same questions at this point. After this one it's all individual appointments. They say this appointment takes about 3 hours. I had mine last month, it started at 1 and I was back at my car by 3:45.
