What are you doing/eating today (Saturday)

Good morning everyone.  Hope everyone had an amazing Canada Day.  It feels like it should be Sunday, but it's only Saturday.  DH and I were thinking of going to a movie this weekend, any recommendations?

Today I'll be doing laundry, but will try to get some time outside because it looks beautiful out there.

I had a fun moment this week, I was at the grocery store and I ran into one of my neighbours from up the street.  I said hello and he looked at me with that blank look.  He said give me a minute and I'll remember.  He didn't and I had to tell him who I was.  First words out of his mouth were, "My god you've lost a lot of weight, I need to lose weight".  This has been happening to me a lot where people don't recognize me.  Maybe there's a way to have some fun with this.

Morning CC. I had fun last night hope you did as well. I was on my way to work this morning and i almost passed out from pain. I was so nauseous and had back pain that i couldn't breath. Went to emerge and they ran test, but nothing showed up. The pain meds worked but the nausea still lingers. I suspect it's my GB as i've been having problems with it lately. Although it only showed sludge on the scan, the surgeon is a bit hesitant to remove it as it might cause more problems. SIGH!!!

Well it's almost 2pm so i'll find something to eat in a few minutes.

Oh no Nia you poor thing, you have been through the wars lately.  Did you tell the doc about the waking up vomiting and the reaction to nuts?  Somehow I think they are all related.

Yes i told her about all that has happened. The x-ray and blood work all came back negative, really a puzzle. She said the lungs looked good and there was no food in there, so i don't know anymore CC. Thanks 

That really is a puzzle, but I'm glad that your lungs are clear.  Hopefully it won't happen again.

Day 9 of Opti.  Going out to a comedy show tonight to try and distract myself from being hungry :-)

A good belly laugh is good for the soul  !!    Great idea !!!

The comedy was fun.  Unfortunately the a/c was broken so it was a little sweatbox.  Drank lots of water and left as soon as the show was over to avoid temptation.
