Breathing Difficulty during the day?

Hi everyone.  I am fail new to the forum.  I am waiting for my apt with the surgeon in Sept so I'm getting nervous.  I've had sleep apnea for years and I've been on cpap now for about 3 yrs.  I've noticed the past several months a change in my breathing during the day as it seems to be getting more difficult.  I really don't understand why as my top weight was 430lbs and I'm now down to 369lbs.  doing simple things has me more out of breath then it did when I was 430lbs.  is this normal?  is there ac such thing as needing some kind of assistance with a breathing device during the daytime?  when I feel it getting hard to breath I put my cpap on and get instant relief.  does and my else know or can relate to this happening to them?

Do you have COPD?

Did you ever smoke?

No it is Not normal. If you are having trouble breathing you need to be seen. Go to clinic or emerg. You may have asthma. There are different things they can do to help open airways such as puffer. Cpap put positive airway pressure to help open airway making it easier to breath. Go to emerg and get checked out

I don't think they recommend us to use the CPAP while awake (at least this is what i was told) the CPAP is only air pressure you should talk to you GP about this.
