Hi there, I am just over 6 months post-op and just found a new product (new to me) and wondered what some of the veterans on the site thought.  Its called 'Broghies' poppers and they kind of remind me of rice cakes without all the calories, etc. here's the nutritional facts:

1 wafer (5g)

19 calories

Fat 0.02g

Cholesterol 0mg

Sodium 0.1mg

Carbs - 4.4g

Sugars 0g

Protein 0.4g

They are made with Wheat, Tapioca, Soybean and Salt, however you can get them with Corn Flour rather than Wheat.

I just found them and enjoy one of them just for the crunch factor as a snack.  My concern is the carbs, I try to keep me carbs (simple & complex) under 45 and I don't do anything 'white'.  Anyone see something that may be an issue? Thanks, Cathy

They sound like they could be a great leave in your car snack incase your in a rush.... Now only if they didn't have the horrid soybeans!

Personally I wouldn't bother with them, empty calories with no nutritional value.

I kind of felt that might be an answer ... I think it's the crunch I like but I definitely get the empty calories. Thanks for your input Ginny
