I had my appointment with the social worker today. It went very well and I really liked her. I used Telehealth- it was really nice to not have to go all the way downtown.

I have my appointment with the nurse practitioner in 3 weeks. After that I can book psychologist and dietitian.

She did tell me they're booking surgeries right in to NOVEMBER right now. That was a bit discouraging but will use the time to learn as much as I can and work on creating a healthy lifestyle.

I know it seems like a long time, believe me, I understand.  In the big scheme of things, Novermeber is not that far away.  The appointments kind of break up the wait. When I look back and think it was a year ago (today, June 22nd), that I was in orientation, and I started optifast today, it's hard to believe it's been a year. It sucks while you're in the wait but believe me, the time will fly by!!

Thank you. I wish mine WAS in November. Lol. I still have to see the np and schedule psych and dietician. And the nutrition class. So a little ways to go yet before I even see a surgeon. But like everything when I look back it won't seem nearly as long.

That's funny. I was wondering what that was too, but I just read past it. Brilliant auto correct!
